Edgewater’s facility is 52,000 square feet and shares its space with more than a dozen nonprofit organizations: from theater companies to afterschool programs to immigration support services.
“Sharing space” is not just a logistical term for the church, however. It’s a framework of relating that is the result of careful thought and discernment, a move away from viewing these organizations as simply tenants.
