Faith & Leadership has won five awards, including two first-place awards, in the Associated Church Press’s annual Best of the Church Press contest. Certificates were presented May 15, 2026, in Toronto.
Faith & Leadership received the following awards:
- Award of Excellence (first place) for News Service, Website, or Social Media for Immigration in America series by the Faith & Leadership staff
- Award of Excellence for Personal Experience (Short format) for I was slammed to the ground and arrested outside an ICE facility. It was a holy experience. By Michael Woolf, writer; Sally Hicks, editor
- Award of Merit (second place) for Professional Resource for Coffee hour and the beauty of lingering with one another by Mihee Kim-Kort, writer; Sally Hicks, editor
- Award of Merit for Personal Experience (Short Format) for When the river rises in the Hill County: Memory, belonging and the work of repair by Shannon Hopkins, writer; Sally Hicks, editor
- Honorable Mention for Independent Website for Faith & Leadership by Dave Odom, Sally Hicks, Aleta Payne, Chris Karnadi, Jessamyn Rubio
